Tuesdays 7:55-9:10pm with Laylianah — New session begins on May 21st!

Intermediate Cabaret Belly Dance class is designed for dancers with a firm grasp of basic belly dance technique. You will learn more complex movements and combinations in Cabaret Styles of belly dance such as Egyptian, Lebanese, and American Cabaret styles. You will also learn about different concepts (musicality, rhythms, layering, improvisation and performance, etc.) from a Cabaret point of view.

This session, Laylianah will teach her choreography to the drum solo "3 Minute Mona" by the Henkesh  brothers. Drum solos are the time when belly dancers get to wow their audience with jaw-dropping shimmies, pops, locks, and challenging combinations. This Choreography is no exception! It will have you feeling pleasantly challenged as a dancer and leave your audience wondering "How do they do that?!"

Is this the right class for me?
