This class will focus on all aspects of being a good ATS® dancer and performer— technique, musicality, stage presence, spatial awareness, strong leading/strong cues, fearless following, giving and receiving feedback, and creativity within structure.  This class will use adult learning principles emphasizing problem-solving, sharing knowledge and cooperative learning.

To enhance student learning, other advanced dancers in the community will periodically  participate in teaching this class as Guest Instructors.  The Guest Instructor will maintain the class format and topic but provide a deeper dive based on that teacher’s skills and knowledge.

Class format:

1-      Skills, drills and technique

2-      Topic-related instruction

3-      Small group exercises

4-      Class debrief and consolidation of ideas

5-      Homework (optional)

Session Topic: Creativity within Structure

Join Lisa, and guest instructor, Dawn Ruckert, to explore ways to express creativity within the predetermined structure of ATS(R).
